Today we knocked out two of the more popular places to go in Puglia, Alberobello and Polignano a Mare.

Our day started in Alberobello, which gets very busy as the day goes on. Known for the large number of Trulli still in the town, Alberobello is visited by thousands of tourists a day looking for their own Trulli experience. Slightly less exciting for us as we are staying in one!

We also hit up a regional museum to escape the rain.

After doing a little bit of shopping, we left to have lunch in Polignano a Mare.

This town is known for its for its sea side views and unique beach area.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing at our lodging and did an easy meal of leftovers.

Both towns are interesting and definitely a popular stop for folks looking for that Mediterranean picture moment. I recommend getting to either early in the morning if you want to get the best photos as both places get very busy as the day goes on.
