The morning started with someone else getting up before dawn to go get THE shot of Venice, it was not me.

The rest of us waited much longer before waking up to take a leisurely stroll over to the Venice market. I don’t know what was going on with their lights but my camera hated whatever it was. I still managed to get a few shots.

We did grab a nice breakfast by the market.

Then we just wandered around for the day.

After a moderate afternoon rest we headed out for an early dinner.

Despite cooler weather it was still pretty hot today, especially in the sun. Still, the sky was amazing with vivid blue skies. We had some great breezes along the waterfronts and down some of the streets.

We have also walked around 8 miles each day for the last two days. One more day of walking and we’ll all be happy to sit on a plane for a while!
