But not Barcelona, today was the town of Vic.
There was not a really great start to the day. The plan was to take a metro to get to the train that takes you to Vic. Only problem is that the station that said online it would take you to Vic was not actually running that train. Instead they had a bus running. Oh, and here’s the fun bit; no one there spoke any English so I got to figure this out on my own!
I did finally get on the right bus and got to endure at least and hour and a half of stop and go traffic in the cramped confines all the way to Vic. needless to say, I was not in the best of moods when I got there. I did make sure to mark out where I was dropped off so I could hopefully make it back to Barcelona easier.
Once I finally arrived I just followed the mass of people right into town and into the midst of the Saturday flea market. At this point, I was wondering if I made a mistake coming to Vic. Thankfully, I did eventually find the market tucked into the narrow medieval streets.

After a false start, I did eventually find the right bus to get back to Barcelona, ending the day. I wish that the train had been running properly but the trip to Vic was very much worth it.
