England 2025, Day 10

Almost wasn’t able to post today. Fun problems downloading my pictures this evening.

Sadly, I left The Swan in Wedmore and head north to the city of Bath. I’ve been looking forward to this day pretty much the whole trip! I’ve never seen a Roman bath with water in it so this was going to be exciting for me. Bath has the only hot spring in England thus it is a very unique location.

Today was also the first day of the Jane Austin Festival. I kind of forgot about this but it didn’t really matter to me as none of the events happening today interested me. It was fun to see folks wandering around in period clothing though!

Offering.

Curse scroll.

You can taste the spa waters at the end. It was warm.

The church next door.

I got to wander around the town after touring the Baths.

Guild market hall.

I have no idea but I thought it was funny.

After Bath I decided to head to my next lodging town so I could wander around for the afternoon. It took way longer than I expected because of at least one accident on the highway.

It was worth the wait.

My new room has lemurs on the wall!

Nice view.

And snacks!

Tomorrow I get to see even more Roman ruins!
