Greece 2025, Day 11

We have finally left the car behind. With the final days being spent in Athens the car would be more of a pain to try and park so we ditched it at the end of the day. That being said, we still had a full day of driving today.

We started off with a drive to the fort above the town. We’d been seeing the thing for several days so it was nice to finally get up to it. There isn’t much there except for the walls but the views were fantastic!

Morning fog across the bay.

Next we hit the religious site Asklepieion of Epidarus. I have no idea, we had never heard of it before but we had a lot of time to kill.

They are working on a lot of reconstructions for this site so I expect it to gain in popularity.

After lunch we followed up with the Temple and Baths of Isthmia.

Amphitheater before being uncovered.

Greek then Roman Baths.

Preserved floor mosaics.

Glass mosaics, never seen these before.

Next we stopped at the Corinth Canal.

And we ended our day in Athens!

Just before sunset. View from the top of the hotel.

After night had fallen.

I look forward to a day with no driving tomorrow!
