Sadly, the last day of Christmas Markets. We took today pretty easy as the only thing we had on the agenda was to see the markets. We got to the first market just after it opened at 11AM.
The medieval market is quite a bit smaller than the one in Esslingen but still a nice change from all of the Christmas markets.

After the medieval market we wandered down the Residence market.

For dinner we hit up a hand-pulled noodle place that we passed every time we went out. The smells were fantastic and made you hungry no matter how full you were!

We’ve had a fantastic time going through the markets! Each one has its own personality and is worth visiting. We’re a bit split on the best market; my friends believe the Stuttgart market was the best and I think the Esslingen one was. Both were fantastic! The only market we were a little disappointed in was the Nuremberg market and that was only due to the high volume of people. Going on a Friday or Saturday evening has its downsides. I think we would have enjoyed it more on another day.
I do recommend getting a hotel within walking distance of any market you wish to go to. It makes parking easier and you have a place to rest if you need. Book far in advance, we booked 6 months out, as these markets are very popular!
We’re sad to be heading off but it was an amazing trip and we don’t have any more space in our suitcases for Christmas cups.
